From a Living Room to the Heart of Fontana
It started the way most good things do — small, unlikely, and God-ordained.
Pastor Daniel Vasquez felt the Lord calling him to plant a church in Fontana. The first Sunday service happened in his living room. Over the next few years, the congregation moved through various locations across the city, trusting God to open each door.
In October 2011, He did — permanently. Calvary Chapel Fontana found its home at our current location off Sierra Ave, and we’ve been here ever since.
The road hasn’t been easy. There have been seasons of challenge, stretching, and learning to depend on God in ways we didn’t expect. But He has been faithful — every step, every need, every prayer.
Today, we’re a diverse, growing fellowship of believers committed to one thing: knowing Jesus and making Him known in Fontana. We teach the Bible verse by verse, we worship in Spirit and truth, and we open our doors to anyone who walks through them.
We’re not a denomination. We’re a family. And there’s room at the table.
What Makes Us Different
We're a Calvary Chapel — Here's What That Means
We’re part of the Calvary Chapel family — a worldwide network of churches united by one conviction: teach the whole Bible, trust the Holy Spirit, love people without conditions.
That means on any given Sunday, you’ll hear Pastor Daniel open the Scriptures and teach through them verse by verse. No cherry-picking. No agenda. Just the Word of God, applied to real life.
We don’t emphasize the things that divide Christians. We emphasize the One who unites us.
