Our Pastors
Servants of God, students of the Word, neighbors in this city.
Senior Pastor
Pastor Daniel Vasquez
Daniel grew up fatherless in Delano Heights, San Bernardino — a neighborhood defined in the late 1980s by poverty, gang violence, and a lack of hope. He saw firsthand what happens when a community doesn’t have men who stand for truth.
That’s exactly why he became one.
At 21, Daniel gave his life to Jesus at Calvary Chapel San Bernardino. He spent eleven years in discipleship before attending the Calvary Chapel School of Ministry in Costa Mesa, where he sat under Pastor Chuck Smith for two years and learned the heartbeat of the Calvary Chapel movement.
After graduating in 2007, Daniel didn’t go somewhere easy. He went home — back to the Inland Empire — to share the Gospel with the community that shaped him.
Today, Daniel has been the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Fontana for over 14 years. He’s married to his wife Laura, and they have two adult children and two grandchildren.
He serves as a chaplain for the Fontana Police Department, an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, a Rotary Club member, and an active part of the school district. He believes the Gospel isn’t just for the pulpit — it’s for the public square.
